J.S. Bach: Cantata #140, with combined choirs of Colorado Choral Arts Society and St. John’s Cathedral G.F. Handel: Selections from Messiah
As part of a year-long cantata celebration of J.S. Bach’s 325th birthday, St. John’s Cathedral Choir, Colorado Chorale Arts Society and the Colorado Chamber Players join together for Bach’s joyous Cantata #140, "Wachet Auf!" also known as "Sleepers Wake!" Other highlights include selections from Messiah with the CCP, audience hymns, and narrations by Jim East of Colorado Public Radio. |
