What’s the Buzz: Music and Insects
Composers through the centuries have been fascinated by insect sounds. Schubert, Rimsky-Korsakov, Bartok, and Britten are some of the composers who depicted the sounds of bugs and nature in chamber music. A string quartet, oboe, piano and narrator will delight you with this often humorous, always entertaining 50-minute concert. Includes Hollis Taylor's "Crawl Ball"!
