Einstein's Mozart is an original work, commissioned by the Colorado Chamber Players, from New York City poet Kate Light. It was commissioned by the Colorado Chamber Players to commemorate the convergence of the centenary of Einstein's "Miracle Year" (1905-2005) and Mozart's 250th birthday (1756-2006).
The CCP string quartet will perform two great string quartets of W.A. Mozart, with poetry and narration by Kate Light between movements. A Curious Theatre actor will narrate the program.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart Adagio and Fugue for string quartet (1788), K. 546, in c minor
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart String Quartet no. 7 (1786), K. 499, in D major
Kate Light Einstein's Mozart: Two Geniuses (2006)- poetry and narration
The CCP and Curious Theatre will present four pre-show dramatic concerts in the 2010-2011 season at Mamie's, Curious Theatre's backstage space. All concerts will feature chamber music and live narration.
Other performances include:
October 10th, 1:00-1:45 p.m., Conte Fantastique, with music of Andre Caplet and interspersed with Masque of the Red Death, by Edgar Allan Poe
February 13th, 2011, 1-1:45 p.m., Love for Three, with romantic music for clarinet, viola and piano by Max Bruch and Rebecca Clarke.
May 19th, 2011, 7-7:45 p.m., Pernambuco!, with a new work commissioned by the CCP for flute, viola, cello and harp, by Latin Grammy award winner Gabriela Lena Frank.
