The Colorado Chamber Players and the Veronika String Quartet (in-residence at Colorado State University-Pueblo) join forces to perform Felix Mendelssohn's magnificent String Octet in E-flat Major, Op. 20 - one of his most exuberant masterpieces composed when he was just 16 years old. This March program also features the two ensembles in Dmitri Shostakovich's emotionally powerful Two Pieces for Double String Quartet, Op. 11.
The CCP will open the program with W.A. Mozart's elegant String Quartet in D-Major, K. 499.
