On July 19, 2010, the Colorado Chamber Players performed a free concert at Museo de las Americas featuring the chamber music of Mexico, Argentina and Brazil. The concert was part of the month long celebration of the Americas in Denver, with the Biennial of the Americas.
Composers of the 20th century (Ginastera, Revueltas, Piazzolla) were featured, with musical styles ranging from tango to milonga to classical. The program was presented in English and Spanish, with a pre-concert lecture by visiting composer Miguel Chuaqui. A reception followed the concert.
