G.F. Handel: Selections from Messiah
As part of a year-long cantata celebration of J.S. Bach?s 325th birthday, St. John?s Cathedral Choir, Colorado Chorale Arts Society and the Colorado Chamber Players joined together for Bach's joyous Cantata #140, Wachet Auf! also known as Sleepers Wake! Other highlights included selections from Messiah with the CCP, audience hymns, and narrations by Jim East of Colorado Public Radio.
This concert was repeated on November 29th, 2009, as part of the morning service at St. John's Cathedral.
