Lisa Brende Martin

Oboist

Lisa Martin is Adjunct Instructor of Oboe at the Lamont School of Music and is currently Principal Oboe of Central City Opera and the Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra. In addition, Ms. Martin has played Principal Oboe with the Cheyenne Symphony, the Colorado Ballet and the Denver Municipal Band. During the 2000-2001 Season, Ms. Martin played Assistant Principal/second oboe with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra. Other notable performances include solo performances at Carnegie Hall and Kennedy Center with the Alexander Schneider String Seminar.

Ms. Martin has previously served on the woodwind faculties at the University of Northern Colorado , the Colorado State University Summer Music Camp and the Eastman School of Music New Horizons Summer Music Program. Ms. Martin received her Bachelors Degree in Oboe Performance at the Eastman School of Music and her Masters Degree in Oboe Performance and Literature from the University of Northern Colorado.
