Kenneth Harper, Double Bass B.M., James Madison University; M.M., Rice University, Kenneth has played as Assistant Principal Bass with the Colorado Symphony since 1995. He formerly played with the Houston Ballet Orchestra, the New Orleans Philharmonic and the Houston Symphony. Mr. Harper has participated in many summer festivals, including the Colorado Music Festival as Principal Bass, National Repertory Orchestra, Tanglewood, and the Solti Orchestral Project at Carnegie Hall. He has been a featured artist at the Round Top Festival, and has been a winner in the MTNA/Wurlitzer Young Artists' Competition and Virginia MTA Concerto Competition.Return to artists page |
