SCFD is the result of a 1988 initiative, in which Denver voters awarded a one-tenth of one percent sales tax for the direct funding of non-profit cultural organizations within the seven metro counties. This invaluable source of funding has supported countless artistic and scientific offerings at almost 400 institutions and organizations, including the Colorado Chamber Players.
