Tamara Goldstein, Piano/Harpsichord
Tamara Goldstein, DMA University of Colorado/Boulder, MM The Juilliard School, BM Indiana University/Bloomington, enjoys a diverse career as a chamber musician, teacher and soloist. She performs as a member of the Colorado Chamber Players, Central City Opera Company and Colorado Opera Troupe and currently teaches on the faculty of the University of Colorado/Boulder and Metropolitan State College of Denver. Dr. Goldstein is a staff accompanist at the Aspen Music Festival as well as MSCD. She has also served as Visiting Piano Instructor at Colorado College and as accompanist for the Colorado Childrens Chorale and the Colorado Symphony Chorus.
Ms. Goldstein is a regular soloist with several Denver-based orchestras, including the Centennial Philharmonic and the Littleton Symphony, and will perform Rachmaninoffs Second Piano Concerto with the Jefferson Symphony during the 2001-02 season. Ms. Goldstein has performed collaborative recitals with many visiting artists, including flutists Carol Wincenc and Karl Kraber and violists Jesse Levine, Ellen Rose and Patricia McCarty, and has performed recitals at Colorado Music Festival, Breckenridge Music Institute, UCLA Songfest, Yale University Faculty Artist Series and other venues throughout the nation as well as Great Britain and Asia.
