Thomas Heinrich, Cello Thomas Heinrich currently plays as a tenured member of the Colorado Symphony. He is principal cellist with the American Sinfonietta, a chamber music which tours Europe annually. Heinrich holds degrees from the Cleveland Institute of Music and the Eastman School of Music. He has recorded chamber music of Saint-Saens for the Summit label, and his performances have been broadcast nationally on CBC Radio (Canada), WQLN, National Public Radio, and live on Yugoslavia National Television. Heinrich has served as Assistant Principal Cellist with the Erie Philharmonic and the Pacific Music Festival Orchestra under Leonard Bernstein. Before joining the Colorado Symphony, he taught cello at Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada, and was a member of the Artemis Trio.Return to artists page |
