René Knetsch (Violin), a graduate of Wichita State University, has been a member
of many orchestras, including the Alabama Symphony, Jacksonville Symphony, and
Oklahoma Symphony. He moved to Denver in 1994 as a member of the Colorado
Springs Symphony, and is principal second violinist with the Central City Opera
Orchestra. He is also the violin instructor and orchestra director at Arapahoe
Community College. René is the conductor of the South Suburban Community
Orchestra, and performs with the Playground Ensemble at the Lamont School of
Music.
