The Colorado Chamber Players is thrilled to celebrate our 27th Season “Virtually Yours” with new friends, new projects and with YOU, our wonderful and loyal audience members. Due to the pandemic, all of our concerts will be performed virtually this season, until a safe vaccine makes it possible to present live concerts again.
We welcome Viola D’amore virtuoso Daniel Urbanowicz; Sarah Biber, Gamba and Baroque Cello; and Paul Primus, Harpsichord, for a gorgeous program “Beguiling Enchantment“, with music of Christian Pezold, Wilhem Ganzpekch, Tobias Hume, Josef Fuchs and Louis-Touissant Milandre on October 23, 2020, through Happy Hour Concerts.
We continue celebrating Beethoven’s 250th birthday in 2020, with our unique project Incessant Hum. Tune in for a virtual broadcast for Beethoven’s birthday on December 16th, 19th or 20th, 2020! Jeffrey Neuman’s world premiere script is paired with Beethoven quartets, Archduke Trio and solo piano music, as we explore the emotional world Beethoven experienced after he lost most of his hearing.
French music by Saint Saens, Faure and Henri Casadesus will be presented virtually on January 16 & 17, 2021, in Macarons de Paris. A beautiful program all about various aspects of love, Love Sweet Love, is on February 13 & 14.
We celebrate the music of Josephe de Bolougne (Le Mozart Noir), a mixed race composer/violinist who lived in the Caribbean and in France in the 1700’s, and was a colleague of Mozart. A virtual concert will occur in April 2021.
We end the season in May 2021, with a rescheduled program of music by Ravel.
Join us for a thrilling 27th Season!
