Incessant Hum: Beethoven 2020 at Broomfield Auditorium

January 14, 2020 by Barbara Hamilton

Colorado Chamber Players presents a world premiere of a new music/theatre hybrid, with a script by Jeffrey Neuman, directed by Mare Trevathan.

As the world celebrates the 250th anniversary of Ludwig van Beethoven, we explore the emotional world that Beethoven experienced, as he lost his hearing and ability to perform as a pianist and conductor.  Two actors, Chris Kendall and Chelsea Frye, perform Neuman’s script, along with excerpts from late works by Beethoven.  Directed by Mare Trevathan. Tickets available in advance (click on link) through Brown Paper Tickets.

You may also reserve tickets by phone through Brown Paper Tickets’ 24 hour phone line: 1-800-838-3006, press #1. Please DO NOT call the Broomfield Auditorium for ticket sales, thanks.

The Broomfield Auditorium offers both wheelchair handicapped accessibility and assistive listening devices.  Please contact the Auditorium at least 24 hours in advance for accessibility needs ONLY at audi@broomfield.org.

Tickets in advance are $15 students/senior 62+, $18 general, through Brown Paper Tickets. Cash or check only at the performance, same ticket prices.

For group tickets of 10 people or more ($12/each), kindly contact us at bhamviola@comcast.net.
