Lisa Brende Martin is a prominent performer throughout the region, having performed the position of Principal Oboe of nearly every regional orchestra in the area, including the Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra, Pro Musica Chamber Orchestra, Ft. Collins Symphony, Boulder Philharmonic Orchestra, Colorado Ballet Orchestra, Central City Opera Orchestra, Opera Colorado, the Boulder Bach Festival, and the Colorado Bach Ensemble. Ms. Martin has performed with the highly esteemed members of the Colorado Chamber Players since 2006.
During two seasons, Ms. Martin held the position of Assistant Principal/2nd Oboe with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra and she also served as acting 2nd Oboe/English horn with the Omaha Symphony. Additionally, Ms. Martin has played with some of the highest reputed musicians throughout the country, performing concerts in Boston, Los Angeles, Carnegie Hall and at the Kennedy Center. As an educator, Ms. Martin has been Instructor of Oboe at the Lamont School of Music and the University of Northern Colorado and has also taught at the Eastman School of Music, the New Horizons Music Festival and the CSU Summer Music Program. Ms. Martin received her Bachelors Degree in Oboe Performance at the Eastman School of Music and her Masters Degree in Oboe Performance from the University of Northern Colorado.
