The Wonders of the Heart: Music About Love
Music by J.S. Bach, Telemann, Vivaldi, Barbara Strozzi, Charpentier and Couperin

Join the Colorado Chamber Players in an all-Baroque program as we celebrate different aspects of love, featuring soprano Amanda Balestrieri. From Bach’s love of God, to Telemann’s depiction of Sancho Panza’s adoration of Don Quixote, to Strozzi’s vengeful love, to Médée’s bitter love of Jason, to Vivaldi’s vision of pure love, we present a wide compendium of expressive love, all about wonders of the heart.

Join us for a reception after the concert!
